You can delete your own forum messages as long as no answer has been posted (published).
Users who dispose of modify permissions for a forum can delete forum messages of any user provided, of course, that there is no answer to the message. This means that complete forum threads can be deleted starting from the most current. Each entry needs to be deleted step by step.
A faster and less complicated alternative is to hide individual messages or complete discussion threads. In order do so, click on the red "hide"-link next to the title of the entry in the overview list.
